Dan Cammish heads to Snetterton for rounds 16, 17 & 18 of the British Touring Car Championship confident of getting his campaign back on track this weekend (August 13/14), as the NAPA Racing UK driver looks to bounce back after being eliminated on the opening lap of the final race last time out at Knockhill.

In a year of ups and downs, the Yorkshireman has battled against a freak car fire and contact from rivals which have resulted in him missing out on a number of points paying finishes so far this season, leaving him outside the top ten in the championship standings. He currently sits in 11th place, just eight points off ninth, so three strong results could vault him up the order, as well as help the Napa Racing UK team close the current 15 point gap at the top of the teams championship.

He and the entire Motorbase Performance team are optimistic of a good weekend at the Norfolk venue, having finished one-two in July’s BTCC tyre test at the venue, with Dan a mere fraction of a second slower than team-mate Ash Sutton in his Ford Focus ST.

Dan will head out on track for two 40-minute free practice sessions on Saturday, August 13th, before qualifying that afternoon at 15:20, which will be shown live on the ITV website using this link itv.com/btcc

The first of three 12-lap races is scheduled to begin at 12:08, with live coverage available on ITV. Race two, also on the main ITV channel, gets underway at 14:15, while the final contest is set for 17:10, with the live broadcast moving to its usual spot on ITV4.
