Dan Cammish is ready for the final three races in the British Touring Car Championship season this weekend (October 8/9), where he will be pushing hard to help NAPA Racing UK edge towards both the Drivers’ and Teams’ titles.

The Yorkshireman has been in good form during the second half of the 2022 campaign, recording eight top-ten finishes in the past 12 races, including victory at Thruxton and a second place when he moved aside to aid teammate Ash Sutton’s championship hopes.

Dan has a strong record on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, claiming his maiden BTCC win there in 2018, doubling up that weekend, and made trips to the top step of the podium in ’19, and ’20. In addition to that, he also secured five wins in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, underlining his mastery of the venue.

This time out he will be ensuring he is quickly up to speed to boost NAPA Racing UK’s chances of coming away with the Teams’ title, which it currently leads, as well as doing all he can to help Ash Sutton who has a narrow advantage atop the Drivers’ standings.

With track time on the longer layout at the Kent venue at a premium, due to noise restrictions, Dan will need every bit of his existing knowledge to succeed as competitors will only have a brief shakedown session on Friday, October 7th, ahead of the weekend itself.

On Saturday, October 8th, he will have two 40-minute practice sessions at 09:30 and 12:05, before qualifying at 15:40 which can be seen live on the ITV BTCC website. After a morning pit walk and autograph session, the first of three 15-lap races begins at 11:30, followed at 14:30, with the season finale at 17:15, all of which will be broadcast on ITV4.
