Daniel Cammish moved back to the top of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB standings with a dominant lights-to-flag victory in the fifth round of the season at Oulton Park.

The Nationwide Crash Repair/PPG-backed driver held onto his advantage from pole position and never looked back in the opening race from the Cheshire circuit, one that was interrupted by red flags after a multi-car shunt behind him triggered by contact between Tio Ellinas and Tom Oliphant.

On the restart, Dan fended off the attentions of Dino Zamparelli, extending his lead to over three seconds as he claimed a third win of the season and his 35th podium in 39 races.

Dan also moved seven points clearing the lead of the championship as a result, with nearest rival Charlie Eastwood spinning to the rear of the pack on the opening lap of the restart.

Dan will hope to double up at Oulton Park on Sunday, starting from pole position in Sunday’s second race which takes place at 3.32 pm.
