Double Carrera Cup GB champion Daniel Cammish returns to the championship for rounds 10 & 11 at Knockhill in Scotland this weekend.

The Leeds-based driver missed the last two races at Snetterton due to clashing Porsche Supercup commitments. He was racing in Hungary where he secured a front row start and led the race before finally finishing on the podium in third place. In his absence team-mate, Charlie Eastwood, and Dino Zamparelli split the Snetterton victories between them to jump in front of Dan in the championship.

After Le Mans, where the restricted entry numbers meant not all the registered championship contenders could race, drop scores will now come into play. This means that Dan sits seven points behind Charlie in the championship, but this will be all the motivation he needs to aim for the win.

Dan has an enviable track record at the short, 1.3-mile circuit having won there on all four Carrera Cup GB appearances so far. The winning record goes back to his Formula Ford days when he claimed a hat-trick at the circuit in 2013.

Dan will get a chance to re-acquaint himself with his Carrera Cup car on Friday during the two free practice sessions on at 11:20 and 15:25. Qualifying will take place at 12:05 with round 10 at 10:50 on Sunday morning. Round 11 will be broadcast live on ITV4 at 16:15.
