Daniel Cammish demonstrated his driving talent in some challenging conditions to take victory in round three of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Silverstone.

The Leeds-based driver started the race from pole position, which was determined by championship positions after poor weather led to the cancellation of qualifying earlier in the day. Luckily it stopped snowing and by the start of the race, the track had dried to such an extent that racing on slick tyres was an option.

Dan got a great getaway from the rolling start grid and had amassed a five-second lead by the end of lap two. From there he was able to control the race and manage the gap to second place Dino Zamparelli. The performance perfectly demonstrated his ambitions for career progression in front of the WEC and ELMS teams racing at Silverstone this weekend.

The grid for race two will again be determined by championship positions after round three. This means Dan will start the race from pole position. Race two takes place at 9:10 on Sunday morning.
