Daniel Cammish expertly piloted his Nationwide Crash Repair/PPG sponsored Porsche to a double pole position ahead of rounds 5 & 6 in dominate style.

The Redline Racing driver was on it as soon as the cars were released to start the half-hour qualifying session. He found a gap in the traffic on the opening lap and built up the pace over the next four laps to set the benchmark time. Having got the best from his tyres he pitted and waited for the optimum time to go out on his second set of tyres.

When he hit the track, it was, by his own admission, one of the best laps he had done in a long time. The fastest time was set on laps 10 of 11 and was four-tenths of a second faster than his nearest competitor. His second time was only a tenth of a second slow and was enough to take pole for race two by over three tenths.

Race one starts at 17:10 this afternoon with race two following on Sunday at 15:25
