Daniel Cammish will go into the final two races of the 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season with nothing less than victory as the objective. The 27-year-old secured his second Porsche title in as many years with a superb double win last time out at Silverstone and will be aiming to add to the tally at Brands Hatch.

The 2.4-mile, 9-turn Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit is always a favourite with the drivers, and they will all be looking forward to unleashing all 460bhp of their Porsche GT3 Cup cars around it. Last year, Tom Sharp was Dan’s nearest competition, this year he is joined by Porsche Scholar Charlie Eastwood as well as Dino Zamparelli and Stephen Jelley, all of them will be out to prove a point.

Dan matched his impressive 2015 total of 11 victories at Silverstone and will be hoping to set a new record for wins in a season in the Nationwide Crash Repair/PPG-backed car. Double Porsche champion and mentor Tim Harvey jointly holds the record with Dan on 11 wins, so one more will see the Yorkshireman set a new benchmark.

Qualifying takes place at 12:05 on Saturday 1st October with race one starting at 10:35 on Sunday 2nd October. Race two will be broadcast live on ITV4 at 16:17. Highlights of race one should be shown on ITV4 after 12:15.
