Dan Cammish is ready to take on his sixth full season in the British Touring Car Championship, as the 2024 campaign begins this weekend (April 27/28) at Donington Park.

The Yorkshireman returns this season with leading outfit NAPA Racing UK, a partnership between back-to-back Teams’ Champions Alliance Racing and NAPA Auto Parts, who will once again field the title-winning Ford Focus ST.

So far Dan has scored 12 victories, five pole positions, seven fastest laps, and 41 total podiums in his time in the BTCC, almost adding another win on a one-off appearance in 2021 but sportingly holding station behind his teammate for a one-two finish.

Donington Park has been a venue of real highs and lows for the 35-year-old in recent years, as he had two wins at the circuit to open last season, but a rare failure ruled him out of the entire meeting on the Grand Prix layout in August, but suffered a freak car fire there in 2022.

The BTCC has announced two main changes for the 2024 season, with the introduction of a three-stage qualifying system which will end with a shootout for pole position, called the Quick Six. Hybrid power boost is being doubled, after two years of high reliability for the innovative system.

Dan will head out for two free practice sessions on Saturday, April 27th, at 09:30 and 13:25, before qualifying at 15:25. The three 18-lap races are scheduled for 11:30, 14:35, and 17:25 on Sunday 28th, with live coverage available on ITV4 and ITVX in the UK, and for the first time, on the ITV Sport TikTok channel across the globe.
